Best educational material that I have found to teach ABC's and Sounds is the Leap Frog Video (Letters and Sounds at the Letter Factory) Its really amazing what my daughter picked up when she was just 3... she went to jr. knowing all her letter her sounds etc. and its been great for her reading start.
